A scientific research base which simulates the functions of veins was launched in Zhuhai People's Hospital on August 15, the Nanfang Daily reports. It is the first of such base in Zhuhai City.
The base was a joint collaboration by the National Simulation and Control Engineering Technology Research Center and the hospital.
According to You Jingyu, director of the center, the base will at first monitor and analyze information related to thoracalgia. It will then set up its big data center as well as health archives for the public in order to provide a statistical basis for diagnosis and emergency treatment.
