More than 210 international enterprises' CEOs including over 40 Fortune Global 500 Companies such as Cisco, Ford have registered to attend 2017 Global Fortune Forum, Clay Chandler, executive editor of Times International Inc announced at a promotion event of the forum in Shanghai on July 27.
The Shanghai promotion event, is the 12th global roadshow held for recommending Guangzhou's business environment, latest investment policies, and invites Shanghai companies to invest in Guangzhou.
It attracted more than 300 people including representatives of Fortune Global 500 Companies, international professional services institutions and so on.
At the meeting, Cai Chaolin, member of the standing committee of CPC Guangzhou Municipal Committee and director of Executive Committee of 2017 Fortune Global Forum Guangzhou, introduced the city's strengths for luring investment on five aspects.
In short, Guangzhou is competitive with a low cost of running business and living, high-efficiency of government services, as a central part of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, enjoys good air quality and launches many favorable policies for investment.
"Guangzhou is the most representative city in China on innovation and business environment. As the most important business conference in the world, Fortune Global Forum will bring CEOs of Global 500 Companies with large Chinese enterprises together," said Chandler. Meanwhile, global economists, investors, entrepreneurs and government officials will convene on the forum.
According to preparatory office for the 2017 Fortune Global Forum, the forum is to see more participants as the upcoming promotion seminars to be held in Europe and America.
