Gongbei Customs organized a policy explanation meeting for representative of more than 30 trade enterprises from Guangdong and Macao in Hengqin, Zhuhai, on June 16, introducing the import-export business road shipping bill system to be used from June 26.
The new system incorporates the customs transfer, collective customs clearance, ATA Carnet, international customs and temporary export-import documents, etc.
According to Hengqin Customs, under the administration of the Gongbei Customs, enterprises can upload their electronic shipping bill data to customs through the road shipping bill system in order to process their customs clearance procedures in advance. The customs will then make a judgment based on the information provided.
The new system is expected to make customs clearance faster and more convenient.
Hengqin customs are piloting the new system from June 19 to 25 to prepare for a full launch from June 26.
