Guangzhou's Yuexiu district is offering up to 100 million to attract top talents, an unprecedentedly high amount. The district introduced “29 Diamond Policies” to encourage quality companies and senior talents to settle down in this district, allocating 1 billion yuan annually for the purpose.
As an example, if a large company chooses to set up its headquarters in Yuexiu district, they will receive up to 20 million yuan as a reward. As the company grows, it can receive an additional award of 10 million for its contribution to the economy. After it is listed on the market, another 2.5 million yuan will be issued. In addition, the company is entitled to VIP services in medical care, education and green passes for other government services.
