The 2017 China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair kicks off in Guangzhou on May 26. Covering 20,000 square meters, it showcases over 1300 innovative projects involving artificial intelligence, virtual reality, unmanned aerial vehicles, etc.
The fair sets up nearly 100 exhibition areas to showcase above high-tech projects, especially for those IAB (new generation of information technology, artificial intelligence, bio-medicine) industries. Over 230 innovative projects are from Russia, British and other overseas regions.

According to Caspar, an Italian buyer comes to the fair for the first time, he feels so excited to have a close contact with such an amount of high-tech products on one fair. Caspar said he is considering to order some products back to his country.
It is the 3rd time for Guangzhou G&G Contact Lens Co.Ltd to attend the fair, which enabling more buyers to know the company and products, said Wu Weidong, the head of Guangzhou G&G. The company has already attracted a 30 million Yuan investment from the University of New South Wales to develop their products.
"The fair inspires the researchers to make innovations since it can bring more technology support and cooperation opportunity with foreign scientific research institutions", said Wu.
The Graphene Contact Lens project.
The Graphene Contact Lens cooperation project has been in operation since 2017. Such a technology to use graphene as conductor can protect the eyes from the interference of electromagnetic wave when wearing smart contact lens in future.
Besides the exhibitions, the fair features more than 20 special activities, three innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, two road shows and so on.
The fair is organized by the Guangdong Provincial Government, the China Association for Science and Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Jiu San Society.
