The company has already attracted a 30 million Yuan investment from the University of New South Wales to develop their products.

"The fair inspires the researchers to make innovations since it can bring more technology support and cooperation opportunity with foreign scientific research institutions", said Wu. The Graphene Contact Lens cooperation project is in operation since 2017. Such a technology to use graphene as conductor can protect the eyes from the interference of electromagnetic wave when wearing smart contact lens in future.
Exactly, the innovation and entrepreneurship fair attracts a number of innovation technology, projects, talents and enterprises from South China, many innovation items are expected to reach deals on the fair.

"The fair can help innovative enterprises to find their needs", said Yan Xiaojun, the General Manager of Guangzhou Development Ruihua New Energy Electric Vessel Co., Ltd. Yan believes the fair acts as a good platform on which they can find new technology and push the development of the whole industry.
According to Yan, it is estimated to reach more technological cooperation with shipyards and business partnership with some Pearl River Delta factories, which have a transportation demand for coals or other resources.

"It is the first time the fair set up an international robot exhibition, which attracts Greatoo (Guangzhou) Robot and Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd. to attend", said Yang Yujun, the Director of Greatoo Intelligent Equipment Inc.
Greatoo (Guangzhou) company is mainly engaged in industrial robot and its core components, control system, the flexible automation technology development, manufacturing, etc. Yang said they can showcase their robot products on this fair, also to touch with more pairing companies in robot industry.

Besides, many innovation research teams will bring their project achievements to the fair. For instance, Institute of Unmanned Systems from Sun Yat-Sen University will present their driverless cars and unmanned systems.
"Although the institute has been cooperating with some large companies such as Ericsson and Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation, we have few access to the market, media", Chen Long, an Associate Professor of Institute of Unmanned Systems in SYSU explained why they will attend the fair.
Hence, Chen Long and his team want to get more attention and investment by introducing their low-cost and low-energy unmanned systems.

Midstereo, a display company concentrating mainly on glasses-less 3D display system and its peripheral technology, whose main entrepreneurial team members are from State Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Materials and Technologies in SYSU.
According to Dr. Fan Hang, the co-funder & CEO of Midestereo, "It (FD2410) is the world's first 24” desktop glasses-less 3D display." Since they plan to launch a larger 3D display product in future, more capital are expected to get from investors which might attend the fair.
