The 7th Guangzhou Art Trade Fair (GATF) will be held at the Area C of Canton Fair Complex from May 18 to 21, 2017.
The Fair covers about 20,000 square meters, consisting of two exhibition halls and 12 theme exhibition areas. Over 20,000 pieces of original art works from around the world will be displayed at this fair, including traditional Chinese paintings, oil paintings, calligraphy, sculpture, print and industrial art works.
It is learned that the 7th GATF is themed on “season for art consumption”. The concept “season for art consumption” is raised in the GATF for the first time, and 12 highlighted activities will be held accordingly.

In order to show the strong aggregation effect of GATF in domestic market and promote the art exchange between the north and the south, six theme exhibitions will be presented during the Fair. They are achievement exhibition of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and nationwide professors’ joint exhibition, exhibition of sketch from nature, exhibition of calligraphic culture, exhibitions of Jingdezhen ceramic artist, and so on.
The ticket of this Fair is 50 yuan, students can get half-price tickets, and people with senior citizen preferential card can enter for free.
