The Fifth Session of 11th Guangdong Provincial Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) opens in Guangzhou on Jan 17, and will conclude on Jan 20.
During the CPPCC, personages from all political parties, mass organizations and ethnic groups and various sectors of society participate in the deliberation of provincial affairs. In 2016, the CPPCC members have put forward 872 proposals, and 637 of which have been placed on files.
33 proposals issued in 2016 were commended in the CPPCC this morning. These proposals cover issues closely related to the social development and people’s lives, such as improving innovation capacities in the Pearl River Delta, solving the real estate’s inventory problem and improving work safety in the production chains.
“I propose to enact differentiated talent plans in Guangdong based on the specific industrial clusters of the local areas. According to different industrial characteristics, we could list out different talents in need and adopt preferential policies”said Wang Weihong, member of the CPPCC and director of the Market and Enterprise Research Center of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.
