According to Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department, people can call the police through sending a message to 12110 when they meet crimes in Guangdong.
However, this service is only available for SIM cards that have been registered in Guangdong.
Guangdong police reminds that citizens should write time, address and situation clearly in the message.
Furthermore, people must switch the sounds mode to “vibration” or “silence”, in case criminals discover that you call the police.
