According to Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department, more than 44 thousand policemen were sent to ensure people’s safety during New Year holiday from Dec 31 to Jan 2.
Data shows that criminal and public security cases go down 7.4% during the New Year holiday year-on-year.
Furthermore, at least 50 people were helped by Guangdong fire fighters and property value worth more than 2 million RMB was saved as well.
