Metro Line 11 is the first metro circle line of Guangzhou, starting and ending at Xinjiao Dong Station（新滘东站）in Haizhu District. It will also pass through important transport hubs including Pazhou Intercity Railway Station, Guangzhou Railway Station and Guangzhou East Railway Station.
It is scheduled for completion by 2022. By then, it will take only one hour to travel the whole line. It is estimated that Line 11 will convey 1,200,000 passengers per day as it is opened.
Line 11 will pass through Ziyuangang Station（梓元岗站）, Guangzhou Railway Station（广州火车站）, Liuhua Road Station（流花路站）, Caihongqiao Station（彩虹桥站）, Zhongshan Ba Station（中山八站）, Ruyifang Station（如意坊站）, Shiweitang Station（石围塘站）, Fangcun Station（芳村站）, Fangcun Road East Station（芳村大道东站）, Shayong Station（沙涌站）, Nanshi Road Station（南石路站）, Chishajiao Station（赤沙滘站）, Pazhou Station（琶洲站）, Datang Station（大塘站）and Shiliugang Station（石榴岗站）.
Line 11 will pass Guangzhou Railway Station, the future high-speed railway station in the city center. At this station, passengers can transfer to Line 2, Line 5, Line 14.
Line 11, Line 8 and Line 13 will come together at Caihongqiao Station. Line 11, Line 1 and Line 19 will join at Fangcun Station.
Passengers can transfer between Line 11 and Line 8 at Pazhou Station. And 5 new exits and entrances will be built.
Besides, Pazhou Station will be connected to two intercity high-speed rail lines in the future, Guangzhou-Foshan Intercity Railway and Guangzhou-Dongguan-Shenzhen Intercity Railway.
Moreover, Line 7 will operate at the end of this month.
Line 14, which will connect Conghua District and the city downtown, is to be finished by the end of 2018, with a shopping mall to be built at Zhongluotan Station（钟落潭站）.
Line 13 will extend from Tianhe Park （天河公园）to Yuzhu（鱼珠）. There will 2 interchange spots in the extension line; Line 11 and Line 21 will join with Line 13 at Tianhe Park Station while Line 4 and Line 13 will come together at Chebei Station（车陂站）. The project is to start next January and be completed by 2022.
