Under the gaze of Chinese President Xi Jinping and King of the Belgians Filip Leopold Lodewijk Maria (Philippe Léopold Louis Marie), Limburg Province became the 40th sister of Guangdong Province after their two Governors, Zhu Xiaodan and Herman Reynders, signed the sister province agreement.
For brothers or sisters, there can be no doubt that they always share many similarities, and the same goes for Guangdong Province and Limburg Province, Belgium.
As the 40th sister of Guangdong, Limburg Province shares a great deal in common with its sister in terms of economy, culture and lifestyle, especially now that both of them are transferring from Industry 3.0 to 4.0 through developing high-end and innovative industry.

"Both Guangdong and Limburg have great potential and broad prospects for cooperation in many fields, such as high-end industry, life sciences and tourism" said Zhu Xiaodan, Governor of Guangdong.
