The 11th Airshow China will be held from November 1 to 6 in Zhuhai, Guangdong and by then about 140 airplanes will be on display or give performances.
The exhibition is divided into two stages. The first half from November 1 to 3 will open for professionals and enterprises while the second half for ordinary people.
The price for adult is 550 RMB, while children and elder above 60-year-old is 300 RMB.
Highlights of the Airshow
1.“Made in China” and international aeronautics and space stars on exhibit
According to the Airshow China, a great number of latest domestic airplanes will be displayed for lovers of aeronautics and space technology, including Y-20, new designed models of ARJ21 and C919 and AG600. The Tiangong-2 aircraft will be exhibited too.
The competition between A350 and Boeing 787 has drawn the most attention. Other foreign airplanes like Sukhoi Superjet 100, Lineage 1000, Legacy 650 and Bombardier CS300 will also be showcased.
Whether J-20 will appear on the show still remains to be confirmed. GDToday will keep you informed for any updated news.
2.Domestic and foreign aerobatic display teams to compete in the sky
It is worth mentioning that several foreign aerobatic demonstration superstars have been invited to perform this year. Among them, UK’s Red Arrows will make its debut in China with 12 Hawk T1 trainers. As two often welcome guests of large international airshows, Russian Knights and Swifts will give a joint performance, the first time outside the Russian Federation.
China’s Bayi Aerobatic Team and Pakistan Air Force will also join the demonstration show. A vision feast is expected to unveil.
There will be two aeronautics shows every day between 10:00 and 16:00.
3.Ground-based equipment performance are added
A new zone covering 70,000 square meters will be set up for ground-based equipment performance. Audiences may have a chance to appreciate dynamic performances of tanks, assault vehicles and armed jeeps.
Where to buy ticket
Foreigners are suggested to buy ticket from authorized travel agencies and the price is 550 yuan.
Note: the ticket is only valid for one day and does not cover ground-based vehicle performance, so audiences can only watch the live show though LED screens.
During the exhibition, 8 free special buses will be at service. Major departure stations include Zhuhai Station (Guangzhou-Zhuhai Intercity Mass Rapid Transit), Gongbei Coach Station, Xiangzhou Bus Terminal Station, Jiuzhou Port, Jing’an Station and Qiguan Station in Gongbei Port. Audiences can bring with their tickets and take a free ride.
