Some 20 government advisers, mostly senior managers of renowned enterprises, are about to give recommendation to Guangdong officials on the International Consultative Conference on the Future Economic Development of Guangdong Province 2015 on November 19.
Among the 20 advisers, 10 of them are originated from high-end manufacturing industries, like electrical engineering, energy, and IT. Others are from modern service industries, including financing, insurance, trade, logistics, and consultancy. British BP p.l.c., Sweden Ericsson Group, American IBM, Japanese Hitachi Ltd. are going to report to the provincial government about their recommendation of innovation in Guangdong.

The conference themed with “Innovation” will emphasize consultancy and communication between government and international enterprises. Chen Shiqing, the deputy secretary general of Guangdong government briefed the press on Thursday that the conference will be divided into three topics, Implementing Guangdong Intelligent Manufacturing, Embracing Internet+, and Creating Innovative Environment. “We hope consultants offer recommendations and advices on driving high-end manufacturing, Internet implementation, and building creative business environment”, he said.
International Consultative Conference on the Future Economic Development of Guangdong Province was initiated in the year 1999. It is a high-level International Consultative Conference, which is aimed to listen to suggestions and proposals advanced by economic advisors to the Governor concerning the economic development and the modernization drive in Guangdong, to strengthen ties and cooperation between Guangdong and multinational organizations and world-renowned institutions of education and scientific research.
