Guangzhou’s financial industry is embracing a great opportunity as financial reforms are deepening across the country.
The city’s financial sector saw an increment of 72.941 billion yuan in the first half of 2015, increased by 13.8% to account 8.8% of the GDP.
Premium contributed 37.3 billion yuan and financial insurance tax contributed 17.9 billion yuan for the growth, rose by 14.6% and 20.8% respectively.
4 more financial institutions with legal person status have been registered since the beginning of this year. Now there are 248 financial institutions in the city with 49 of them have legal person status.
Meanwhile, the implement of “One Belt One Road” Strategy and the establishment of Guangdong Free Zone also motivate the financial industry.
