On November 14th, Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Guangzhou held an official reception in Grand Hyatt Hotel to celebrate the 2017 Korean National Day.
“Since the two countries established diplomatic relations 25 years ago, China maintained excellent friendship and cooperation with Korea,” said by Zhang Aijun, Deputy Secretary-General of the People’s Government of Guangdong. “Guangdong is willing to develop exchanges with Korea in the fields of logistics, Internet, robotics, artificial intelligence and big data in the future.”
Hwang Soontaik, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Guangzhou expressed his great compliment to the cooperation between Guangdong and Korea in the past years. “In the past 25 years, there are many remarkable cooperations between Korea and China in political, economic, social and culture areas. The trade volume has a 37 fold increase compared with 25 years ago. The personnel exchanges between two countries exceeded 12 million per year, and there are more than 1,170 flights between China and Korea every week.”
Mr. Hwang Soontaik also expected more cooperation and exchanges between China and Korea in the future.
