South China Normal University(SCNU) was established in 1933 and has been adhered to the goal of becoming a teaching-oriented research university. It is a comprehensive university, consisting of diverse branches of learning, such as philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, and management.
College of International Culture
Though going through ups and downs with the history of the nation since its founding in 1906, Jinan University has never lost its way in the pursuit of truth and knowledge. The four campuses of Jinan University locate in three cities, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai. The latter two, adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao respectively, are two special economic zones in China and always take a leading role in the economic development in China.
Guangdong University of Technology
Guangdong University of Technology is a key university of Guangdong Province with a history of over 50 years. It is a multi-disciplinary university offering a wide range of courses in engineering, science and technology, business management, liberal arts and law, with major emphasis on the study of engineering.
South China Agricultural University
Over nearly a hundred years, SCAU has grown into a multi-disciplinary, comprehensive university with agriculture, engineering, liberal arts, basic sciences, economics, management, law, education, history and philosophy.
Admission - International Students
Upon approval of the Ministry of Education of China, Guangzhou University (GU) was founded as a multi-disciplinary institution on July 11, 2000 by merging the tertiary institutions previously known as Guangzhou Normal University, South China College of Construction, Guangzhou University, Guangzhou Junior Teachers College. The university's current full-time postgraduates and undergraduates number 18,000. GU also enrolls students from overseas, including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan as well.

Shenzhen University (SZU) is a comprehensive university founded in 1983 and has been rapidly developing with the pace of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. It has formed a complete educational system from bachelors, masters to doctorates, from full-time formal education to part-time and international continuing education.

Shantou University (STU), founded in 1981 with the approval of the State Council, is a key comprehensive university under the "211 Project" in Guangdong Province, and the only institution of higher education in the Chao-Shan area that has provided tens of thousands of local residents with higher learning. Its campus covers a total area of 1.28 km2 with the floor space comprising 406,000 M2.
Aa full-time comprehensive university by merging the uuuniversity's predecessor, Foshan University (built on its 1950s origins), with Foshan Agriculture & Animal Husbandry College. The uuniversity has two campuses, one in Foshan Chancheng district, and the other in Nanhai district, covering a land area of 141.22 Hectares.
Southern Medical University
Southern Medical University, the former First Military Medical University, was founded in October 1951 and notarized as one of the premier medical universities in 1978. The university has been authorized by the Department of Education as a key medical university.
Wuyi University was founded in 1985 and is located in Jiangmen City, Guangdong. As Jiangmen has jurisdiction over the the five cities (districts) of Enpiing, Xinhui, Taishan, Kaiping and Heshan, it is customarily called “Wuyi” from which the university derived its name and became well-known at home and abroad.

Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine
The predecessor of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine can be dated back to more than 80 years ago which was originally as "Guangdong Chinese Medicine Specialty School". In 1924, in order to save Chinese Medicine, treasure of China, out of the danger of extinction, predecessors paid great effort and overcame a host of difficulties to establish this school and educated about 900 students of 21 sessions.
Guangdong University of Foreign Studies
Evolved from the original Guangzhou Institute of Foreign Languages and Guangzhou Institute of Foreign Trade, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) has now become a key university in Guangdong Province with broad international reputation in foreign language and trade teaching.
GDUFS currently offers 46 Bachelor programmes in 19 faculties and departments, admitting over 26,000 students.
