On the afternoon of April 28, the 3rd day of “Guangdong in the Eyes of Media from Countries along the Maritime Silk Road 2015”, the media group was invited to Huayang Lake that locates at Machong town in Dongguan.
On the flower-decorated boat, they sailed along Majiao River into the ecological tourism site, Huayang Lake.
The lake in late spring is full of flowers and kept journalists photographing the picturesque view. According to the stuff onboard, the river underwent a restoration recent years. Nowadays, it becomes a tourist attraction.
The Area is planted with sakura, peach, water plants, willows, baldcypress and other plants.
As the boat sailed, it passed by Water Tow Flower Field, Banana Villas, Lake-Side Tower Shadow and Peach Blossom Castle, are added. Gusts of cool wind took away visitors' tiredness. Towards the sea of flowers bathing in the dawn, journalists seemed reactivated by the relaxing atmosphere.
Besides the natural beauty, the lake also boasts abundant traditional culture. Encircled by 4 tranquil villages, it has floating stages for Yue opera and recreational infrastructures alongside, which depict the daily life of modern citizens. And the traditional Yue opera has attracted journalists to have photos with actors who had special makeup on.
