Dongguan cars as good as made-in-German

Yong Qiang is an enterprise integrating R&D, production, and sales of special equipments for transportation, fire extinguishing, rescue, and disaster relief.
Yong Qiang’s products have reached the top-tier standard and received orders from Australia, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Malaysia, Thailand, and Philippine, etc. It has experienced a development from a shop on street side to a tech company with more than 200 patents.
The presentation of a cutting-edge fire-extinguishing vehicle arose media’s curiosity. A journalist from Malaysia asked about the business connection with Malaysia, the company answered that it delivered to the country 4 vehicles in 2013, and 1 in 2014.
Yang said that as other companies in China, on the background of the initiation of “One Belt, One Road” strategy, the company also strikes to explore the overseas market. With the help of foreign governments and overseas Chinese, Yong Qiang has started building an international sales network.
Dongguan develop cutting-edge robots
“Isn’t here a robot industry base? Why I have only seen machines rather than androids in the exhibition hall?” A journalist feel confused by the concept of robots and machines asked the secretary of a founder Li Zexiang. The secretary Miss Mo explained that there are many different types of robot. What led to the journalist’s misunderstanding might be the service robot which often taken as the representative of all robots.
“Actually in this hall, products from 5 companies stand for different categories of robots. For instance, the machine for picking sausages are for mass production,” Mo further explained. Besides the renowned DJI, the operating mechanism is also the interest of journalists.
The robot industry base has a total investment of about RMB 270.0 million. It is invested by Qing Shui Bay Angel Investment Fund established by Li Zexiang and a number of robot experts, Googol Technology, DJI Innovations, QKM Automation.
When asked about the aim of setting this base, Mo replied that the aim is to grasp the technologies of 10 core modules of robot industry and foster high-end technical staff needed by the robot industry. “Experiencing the days of starting his own company, professor Li feel it is necessary to make use of his resources in robot developing to help those who have great idea and need help to realize it.”
As introduced, the base will foster three enterprise clusters: movement control and high-end equipment enterprise cluster, industry and service robot enterprise cluster and high-end consumer products enterprise cluster.
