Eddy: Madagascar and Guangdong tie, from cartoon to real

2014-November-4       Source: Newsgd.com

Nowadays, Guangdong is the hot choice for foreign students to learn Chinese culture. Eddy, from Madagascar, having been studied in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies for three years, shared with us his story.

Study in Guangzhou, making friends is important

Eddy has studied in an MBA program in Guangdong for over 3 years, that’s why he knows so much of the business relationship between China and Madagascar. When talking about the study life in Guangzhou, he thought it is of hardness as well as joy.

“Making friends is important. We usually read news through BBC, New York Times, but it won’t tell you what’s happening around in Guangzhou. But fortunately, I have many local friends, they help me a lot.”

In spare time, Eddy also hangs out with his friends. He has been to quite many parks, restaurants and shopping malls in Guangzhou.

“I think the theme of Guangzhou is business. No matter the modern part or the ancient part, the commercial element of Guangzhou is very strong. Guangzhou is an ideal place to do business and the study experience here may help me a lot when I produce real business in the future.”

Although in the old days, Guangdong once had trade link with Madagascar through the Maritime Silk Road, thousand years later, the link seems a little bit windy, just like the Madagascar in cartoon. However, we must believe that with the joint efforts of people from both two countries, the Madagascar - Guangdong tie will become real and tight.
