Shenzhen North Railway Station will operate three pairs of high-speed trains between Shenzhen, Nanchang and Guangzhou, respectively.
Trains G633/4 and G637/8 between Shenzhen and Nanchang will pass through Changsha South Railway Station, cutting the trip from 8 hours and 43 minutes to 4 hours and 54 minutes.
Trains G6281/2 will operate between Shenzhen and Guangzhou.
According to the Shenzhen station, G633/4, which will start operation tomorrow, will depart Shenzhen at 4:32 p.m. They will go pass Humen, Guangzhou, Qingyuan, Chenzhou, Leiyang, Zhuzhou, Changsha, Liling, Xinyu and Gao'an before arriving at Nanchang.
G637/8 will start operation Sept. 17 and depart from Shenzhen at 6:38 p.m.
G6281/2 will start operation Wednesday and depart from Shenzhen at 2:10 p.m.
During the National Day holiday period between Sept. 28 and Oct. 7, Shenzhen railway station and Shenzhen East Railway Station are expected to handle 900,000 passengers in 10 days, including 780,000 passengers leaving from Shenzhen Railway Station, the operator said. The number of travelers Oct. 1, the peak day of travel, is expected to reach 110,000. As the traditional Double Ninth Day overlaps with the National Day holiday this year, the holiday travel for sight-seeing and visiting friends will boom. Shenzhen Railway Station will add three pairs of temporary trains during the holiday including K562 to Fuyang, K9278 to Shaoguan and K9088 to Zhangjiajie. Shenzhen East Railway Station will add K9218 to Changsha and K9204 to Yueyang during holiday.
