Revised the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) Arbitration Rules

On 4 November, 2014, the China Council for The Promotion of International Trade and China International Chamber of Commerce agrees to revise the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission for Arbitration Rules. New rules will enter into force from 1 January, 2015, and prior to the enforcement of the new rules, the arbitration commission and its sub-commission/arbitration center shall apply the applicable rules when the case is accepted; if both parties agree, the new rules can also be applied to the case.
