On 25th March, 2014, on the purpose of encouraging the development of encouraging industries in Guangdong Hengqin New Zone, Fujian Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone and Shenzhan Qianhai Contemporary Service Cooperation Zone, the State Administration of Taxation published the Ministry of Finance, State Administration of Taxation: Notice of the Preferential Policy and Preferential Catalog of Business Income Tax for Companies in Guangdong Hengqin New Zone, and Fujian Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone and Shenzhen Qianhai Service Cooperation Zone. The Notice reduces the business income tax at the tax rate of 15% in respect of the enterprises established in Hengqin New Zone, Pingtan Comprehensive Zone and Qianhai Contemporary Service Cooperation Zone within the catalog of encouraging industries. The preferential period is started from 1st Jan, 2014, to 31th Dec, 2020.
