With increasing personnel cross-borders exchange in recent years, more and more foreigners apply for permanent residence in China, particularly the management and foreign employees in foreign company. According to Chinese laws and regulations, the foreigners with permanent residence in China shall be given effective protection and fair treatment. Chinese government is propelling the relevant legislations, such as removing the employment restrictions, encouraging entrepreneurship and safeguarding fair employment.

It is reported that the Ministry of Human Resource and Social Security will formulate the legislature on treatment for foreigners with permanent residence in China in the second half year. It will also issue circular on visa and preferential treatment to the oversea senior management in order to attracting the foreign talents.

Though the legislation is under process, it can be foreseen it will appeal to the foreign talent. An eye will be kept on this matter.
