House price is the most bothering thing for Guangzhou citizens, Guangzhou Public Opinion Research Center's latest research showed.

Up to 54.5 percent of Guangzhou citizens are unsatisfied with the house price hike. Some citizen said the house price is not affordable for most of the citizens, and house price increase rate is much higher than that of salaries. Some even said the two can not be described as "race between the rabbit and the turtle" but between "the rabbit and the snail".

Besides the soaring house price, Guangzhou citizens are also very unsatisfied with the income gap. Only 10.8 percent of the interviewees felt happy with their income increase, and up to 52.4 percent not satisfied.

Citizens expect that house price hike curb could become one of the most important assignments for Guangzhou government in 2010.
