On January 4th, Dongguan and Agricultural Bank of China, Guangdong Branch signed a cooperation agreement, according to which, the branch will grant the city 50 billion yuan loan amount in the future 3 to 5 years. By now, Dongguan have had agreements with all the four leading banks in China (Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Bank of China and Agricultural Bank of China), with a contracted credit volume of 210 billion yuan.

According to Mr. Yin Yi, Manager of the bank branch, among the 50 billion yuan credit, 23 billion will go to the light rail and sewage treatment and other key infrastructure projects, 16 billion will be used to finance the private enterprises, 8 billion will be used to support the three industrial parks, and 3 billion will go to the key agricultural enterprises.

Before this agreement, China Construction Bank had a contract with Dongguan to grant it 60 billion yuan loan in the coming 3 years, and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and Bank of China also had agreement with Dongguan and will grant 50 billion yuan each to the city.
