83.17 million to build make-shift houses in quake-hit area- China - News Brief

A total of 83.17 million Yuan, about 17 percent of Guangzhou citizen's total donation, has been used to build make-shift houses in quake-hit area in Sichuan province.

Statistics from the Guangzhou Civil Affairs Bureau showed that the donations from Guangzhou citizens have reached 500 million Yuan yesterday, and the total donation from the city have exceeded 700 million Yuan.
