The first phase of the 103rd session of Canton Fair ended on April 20, with 124,785 purchasers participating, exceeding the total of the previous session.

Until 16th, the turnover of export area has reached over 5.07 billion USD, 4.1% up by that in the 102nd and 10.2% in the 101st session.

EU, US and Middle East accounted for 28.5%, 18.2% and 14.3% respectively, of the total transaction.

Deals on electro-mechanical products were worth 3.28 billion USD, 64.7% of the total. Household electrical appliances and IT products contracts were worth 1.36 billion USD

But, deals on textile products witnessed a heavy 24.4% decline to 410 million USD. Besides, the transactions of hardware decrease by 6%.

The second phase of the fair will be held on April. 25-30 on both Pazhou complex and Liuhua Complex in Guangzhou.
