Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games Organizing Committee and Sun Yat-Sen University co-launched the solicitation and selection of slogans for the Guangzhou Asian Games yesterday (September 23rd).
Detailed rules for the design are also released. The participating slogan should be an embodiment of the concept of "Thrilling Games锛孒armonious Asia" and reflect the Olympic Spirit and value as well as the characteristics of China and style of Guangdong. The slogan should also be easy to read and remember, and can be understood and shared by people from different cultures. Lastly, the Slogan should be emotional and inspiring, and can be presented with strong visual effects.
Ten Slogans will be selected out of all submitted Slogans, and only one Slogan, both in Chinese and English, will be final winner and will become the Slogan for the Games.
The Slogan competition participants will receive a Certificate issued by GAGOC. And the participant of the final 10 slogan will receive 50000 RMB.
All participants must fill out and sign the Entry Form and the pledge form and submit to GAGOC. The two forms, which are available on the official website of GAGOC (www.gz2010asiangames.org), can be submitted to the following address via deliver, or via mail and email.
