The 4th China International Small and Middle Enterprise Fair concluded in Guangzhou on Tuesday with 24803 cooperation projects inked or under negotiation.
The fair attracted 4256 exhibitors and 305,000 visitors from 31 countries and regions, including 68,000 purchasers from Japan and other countries.
Japanese Exhibitor
The participating enterprises from two hosts of the fair this year, China and Japan, are satisfied with the 4-day information exchange, and have inked or have the intention to start 21943 bilateral cooperation projects.
In the 鈥淛apanese Exhibition Zone鈥 with an area of 20000 square meters, nearly 500 enterprises from Japan displayed their latest products, including food and drink, machine parts, Automobile, electric and electron. This is the first time for about 70% of these Japanese exhibitors entering Chinese market. Their high quality environmental protection products and latest energy saving, circulation and reproduction products attracted much attention.
Leading Retailers in the Fair
Many domestic and foreign retailers, such as Wal-mart, Carrefour, Metro, Lotus, Gome, and A Best, appear in the fair to find new suppliers among the exhibitors. They praised the fair for giving them a good chance to have face-to-face communication with SMEs and reducing their cost and time for purchasing.
Financing channel development for SMEs
Led by the China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC), 46 banks promote their financial products tailored to domestic SMEs.
During the fair, 19 banks and 19 SMEs signed loan agreements. And source reveals, a SME bond will be issued in October in Shenzhen.聽
