Guangdong province will hold a business similar in Kuala Lumpur on September 6, revealed Guangdong Governor Huang Huahua, when meeting with Melaka state governor Tun Datuk Seri Utama Mohd. Khalil b. Yaakob in Guangzhou yesterday (August 14).
Guangdong and Malaysia has made great progress in trade and business cooperation, there are till great potential in many areas especially tourism, said Governor Huang.
The trade volume between Guangdong and Malaysia totaled 11.3 billion USD last year, up 22 percent year on year. In the first half of this year, the trade volume reached 5.3 billion USD, 34 percent more than the same period of last year.
More than 500 Malaysia enterprises are doing business in Guangdong with an investment totaled 490 million USD, according to Huang.
