China (Guangzhou) International Wine and Spirits Exhibition, or Interwine China, will hold its autumn session in Guangzhou from November 11 to 13.
As the only international exhibition for the industry in South China, Interwine is held biannually. This will be its 13th edition. The exhibition will take place at Zone B of the Canton Fair Complex in Pazhou for over 30,000 sq. m of exhibition space. Visitors can taste and buy wines from the world's major wine-exporting countries like France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Romania, Australia, Chile, Argentina and South Africa. Domestic wines also will be exhibited.
The organizer and the exhibitors will hold many seminars and shows during the fair. There will be wine tastings of Romanian organic wine, cognac, Spanish wine and Mexican tequila. Visitors also can join seminars on topics such as wine tasting, the role of the sommelier and the sale of wine.
The final round of China Sommelier Competition will be held during the fair. Eight contestants winning the regional contests of 17 Chinese cities will gather to compete for the national championship. The final competition includes blind tasting, service skill and Q&A.
On November 13, last day of the fair, the exhibitors will sell their exhibited wines at discount price.
