The 2014 China Processing Trade Products Fair opens on June 18th in Guangdong Modern Exhibition Centre in Dongguan City. The event, scheduled to run from June 18 to 21, opens to professional purchasers for the first three days and to the public for free on the last day.
The Fair is the first service platform for sales of processing trade products at national level. The Fair clinched over 13000 deals with a total intentioned turnover of 145 billion Yuan in the last two sessions, Guangdong Vice Governor Zhao Yufang said in the opening ceremony.
It is an important measure to promote the exchange of processing trade enterprises and businessmen from domestic and abroad and speed up transformation and upgrade of processing trade, she added.
According to organizers, a total of 1,210 exhibitors registered for 2811 booths this year, up 12 percent over last session. A total of 6300 companies and 16,200 professional buyers will attend the fair, up 14.5 percent and 35.5 percent respectively. This session also invited oversea buyers from eight countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia and Brazil to further open the oversea market.
A series of activities will be held in the e-commerce service zone to help companies develop e-commerce business, and also help them open the mobile terminal consumer market. A mobile mall (www.jbh360.com) released in the opening day, encouraging enterprises to enter the mobile platform and college students to start business in the e-store.
The exhibit is organized by the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, Ministry of Environment Protection, General Administration of Customs, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, State Intellectual Property Bureau, and the People's Government of Guangdong Province.
