A dynamic exhibition by three contemporary Australian indigenous artists will be opened at the Redtory Art & Design Factory in Guangzhou on Saturday 28 June.
The exhibition curated by Australian’s most significant Indigenous Curator: Mr Djon Mundine OAM, features the work of prominent artists: Sandra Hill (Western Australia), Gary Lee (Northern Territory) and Jason Wing (New South Wales).
Each of these artists examines their mixed Indigenous and Chinese Heritage telling three unique stories of how they were touched and moved to express their own experiences.
The exhibition talks of the resultant position of three such people and how they express their feelings and emotions, self-concepts, strength and joy growing out of their heritage.
The exhibition will be opened on Saturday June 28 by the Australian Consul-General - Mr Dominic Trindade from 3pm at Redtory Art & Design Factory.
