Garden City Center, the largest and most upmarket shopping mall in Nanshan District, is celebrating its first anniversary this and next week by offering different kinds of events, incentives and discounts in its more than 50 stores.

Until May 8, tickets to MCL Cinema City.s VIP room are 40 percent off. There will also be big discounts on brands like Louis Gianni (22-42 percent off), Pierre Cardin (20-30 percent off), Kaltendin (50-90 percent off), FALOUINA (50 percent off), DMD (12-50 percent off) and Crocodile (20-62 percent off).

A lucky draw will be held, and the winner will get to use a Volkswagen Beetle car, according to the leasing center of China Merchants Real Estate (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd., developer of the shopping mall and organizer of the anniversary celebrations.

At 6 p.m. Sunday (April 29), there will be a party and lucky draw on the first floor of the shopping mall. At 9 p.m., the top prize, the Beetle car, will go to one of the 500 shoppers who were given the "Garden City Center Lucky Star" title in previous draws in the past four months.
