At an annual conference on commercial street affairs in Guangzhou, officials announced the implementation of new live web-cast technology enabling citizens to monitor foot traffic at busy intersections around the city, such as Shangxiajiu Commercial Pedestrian Street.
The webcast will be available during the spring Festival period. Citizens can use the service to monitor the traffic level and make their shopping plans accordingly.
