NBA bans Warriors' Davis for one game - Sports - Enjoy Life in Guangdong

NBA Saturday handed veteran guard Baron Davis a one-game suspension after the Golden State Warriors player swinging at Los Angeles Clippers forward Quinton Ross.

The incident occurred with just under two minutes remaining in the fourth period of the Warriors' 115-109 loss to the host Clippers on Wednesday at the Staples Center.

Davis, a seven-year NBA veteran averaging 20 points and nearly five rebounds a game, served his suspension later on Saturday when the Warriors hosted the Cleveland Cavaliers.
