The Chinese boys have failed to impress the new manager of the Olympic football team, with a 2-0 loss to Japan in a friendly match in Tokyo.
It was the last match orchestrated by Jia Xiuquan, who will be replaced by Serbian Ratomir Dujkovic.
The Chinese team enjoyed a good beginning, highlighted by a botched header and a powerful shot within the penalty area.
However, the Chinese offensive was slowed in the 5th minute, when defender Tan Wangsong got a yellow card for challenging the referee.
The Japanese scored their first goal in the 17th minute, when midfielder No. 17 sent the ball into the net with a head butt.
The host extended its lead in the 78th minute, with a controversial goal by its striker No.11.
The two teams faced each other in early August in Qinhuangdao in China, where the guests won with the same tally.
