Jin Jong Oh of South Korea grabbed his second gold medal at the shooting World Cup here after winning the men's 10 meter air pistol event on Thursday.
China's newcomer Liu Bo caused an upset by taking the women's 50m rifle three positions title with ease.
Jin, winner of the men's 50m pistol event here on Tuesday, tiedwith Russian youngster Leonid Ekimov after the qualification roundwith a score of 587 points and took the lead from the start of the10-shot final, claiming the title with a total of 685.8 points.
"I am extremely happy to win again as I haven't expected such good results at all." said Jin, who won the event for the first time.
Kim Jong Su of DPR Korea cut the gap with Jin to one tenth of apoint after the sixth shot in the final, but shot only 8.3 points in the following attempt and had to finally settle for the second place with a total score of 684.5 points.
Ekimov, two-time European junior champion, took the bronze medal with 683.4 points.
The Olympic slot went to DPR Korea, the country's first berth for the 2008 Games, as Jin has already secured one last year.
In the women's 50m rifle three positions event, Liu, who was making her international debut, won the title with a total of 690.1 points. She also earned China a quota place for the 2008 Olympics.
Germany's Barbara Lechner, current world record holder for the event's final, grabbed the silver medal with 679.7 points after finishing fourth in the qualification round. Kazakhstan's rookie Galina Korchma was third with 697.1 points.
Liu, 27, had established a six-point lead in the qualification round and remained unassailable throughout the final, where she had the highest score of 101.1 points.
"Actually, I was so nervous throughout the final thus I scored a few nine-point shots," said Liu, who was selected into the national team late last year. "Anyway, I am very happy to win in my first World Cup."
"I don't think age is a problem in the shooting sport, I am still young." she added, referring to her age.
