Shanghai will host a global business conference on Formula One world championship on October 14, two days before the 2005 season comes to a close at the Shanghai International Circuit (SIC), organizers announced on Wednesday.
The conference, sponsored by Formula One Management and F1 Chinese Grand Prix organizing committee, is aimed to present business opportunities associated with the sport.
Among the 14 high-profile speakers at the conference will be Bernie Ecclestone, President of Formula One Management, Shanghai vice mayor Yang Xiaodu and SIC general manager Yu Zhifei.
The Chinese Grand Prix is the last stop of the 19-leg Formula One world championship.
Along with the Olympic Games and FIFA World Cup, Formula One world championship is dubbed as the world's most prominent sporting events.
