Beijing made it fourth win in a row after trouncing Shandong 96-81 in the latest round of Chinese Basketball Association.
The visiting Beijing side took the lead right after the kick-off with an aggressive 8-0 surge and locked the score at 25-18 by the end of the quarter.
They extended the gap to 16 points before the second half.
Shandong struggled to keep pace with their rivals, but did not pick up form until the last period when they made it 65-73.
However, free throws from Jiao Jian and Chen Lei consolidated Beijing's lead and help them take two points home.
The win boosted the capital team's third place in the north conference, while the defeated Shandong took the fifth.
In a south conference's duel, the awe-inspiring Jiangsu extended their unbeaten record after beating Zhejiang 113-86, which left no chance for others to challenge their top position.
Guangdong stands the second after nailing Henan 94-83.
