The International Masters Swimming Hall of Fame has inducted nine new members. The organization made the announcement in Lauderdale, Florida on Wednesday and set the ceremony for January eight.
Seven of the members are from the United States. They are Bumpy Jones, William McAlister, Tod Spieker, Phil Whitten, Deininger, Betsy Jordan, Sandy and Neilson-Bell.
The remaining two swimmers are Flora Connolly from Britain and Richard Reinstaedtler from Germany.
They were selected by an international committee for their achievements.
