However, a blood disorder which sapped her energy, prevented her from playing the majority of match's last year.
The 22-year-old is planning to go to Australia to defend her title.
She said she had won two major tournaments a year in the past two years, and she is hoping to repeat the feat in 2005.
She is currently ranked 8th in the world.
