Ticket sales for the Turin Winter Olympics have started in China with the event's ticket office opening in Beijing. The office received 1500 ticket orders on its first day.
The office received 1500 ticket orders on its first day, covering the opening and closing ceremonies, figure skating competition and the short track skating events.
It is the only licensed ticket agent for the Turin Games in China, which, besides ticket sales, will be also in charge of receiving Chinese visitors in the northern Italian city.
15 events will take place in Turin, with a total of one million tickets to be sold.
