Jiangxi, Guangdong, Fujian and Guangxi's Hakka Folk Song Invitational Competition will be held in Qingxi town in Dongguan next Monday.
The competition sponsors are the Guangdong Citizen Art Center, the Propaganda Department of the Dongguan Party Committee and other departments. 17 teams from four provinces will attend the tournament, with a total of more than 60 musicians.
Qingxi town has a large number of Hakka residents. The local government pays attention to the development and innovation of folk art. Hakka folk songs and kylin dance are two folk arts that the local government has focused on.
