Harry Potter will remain Harry Potter because British actor Daniel Radcliffe has inked an agreement to play the part in the final two films of the seven-part series, according to his spokeswoman on Friday.

Radcliffe will begin filming the sixth movie, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" in September, she added.

The 17-year-old, has been receiving rave reviews for his performance in Peter Shaffer's controversial play "Equus," in which he plays a nude scene. Movie commentators had questioned whether Radcliffe could continue the role of Potter throughout the film franchise, and whether the revealing publicity photos of Radcliffe for "Equus" would alienate him from his core fan base.

The hit franchise, which continues with the fifth film called "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" later this year, has earned about 3.5 billion U.S. dollars worldwide at the box office and turned the teenager into a multi-millionaire.

Author J.K. Rowling recently announced the seventh and final book in the series, titled "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" will be published on July 21.

The first six books have sold in excess of 325 million copies worldwide.
