Hong Kong veteran actor Jackie Chan's latest action comedy "Rob-B-Hood," co-starring Michael Hui and Louis Koo, will be screened in China starting Oct. 1, the beginning of the weeklong National Day holiday.
In the HK$130 million (US$16.7 million) action film by "New Police Story" director Benny Chan, Jackie Chan plays a gambling-addicted thief who, along with two other crooks, kidnaps the infant grandson of the richest woman in town.
Getting the jump on the release, the film's theme song, "Parents' Words," will be released in early September through Web sites.
Leading Hong Kong musician Lam Chik wrote the lyrics, which Jackie Chan will sing.
