The Chinese mass media have widely reported CCTV will take Taiwan talk show host Jacky Wu Zongxian off the air.
Staff from his show Chinese Show Star have come out to refute the news rumor.
The show's producer Guo Jihong, says Jacky is not leaving CCTV and the next edition of his show will air next Friday.
She says she is still talking to Jacky about how to improve the program.
Jacky will also host the CCTV Mid-Autumn Evening Gala next month as well.
