Warner Loses its President
Latest Updated by 2005-01-18 14:49:16

Xu Xiaofeng, the ex-president of Warner Music China, sent an open letter to the media explaining why he left the company.

He says in the letter he decided to leave Warner Music and plans to travel, and study, and give lectures at the cultural industry institute at Beijing University. He says he will also find ways of cooperating with Warner Music.

But the open letter didn't explain the exact reason why he left the company.

He took over the position from Song Ke. The new president is Xu's partner and friend Huang Xiaomao.

Huang Xiaomao said in an interview that he is not surprised Xu left the company saying everyone has his own plan. He also say the job has pressures.
