Greenest county-level city---Conghua(Mar. 19)
 Conghua city has increased its ecological parks almost three times in recent years in trying to create a green environment.
Conghua is aiming to become a state green city in 2004, a garden city in 2006 and to win the National Human Habitat Award in 2010.
The total area of Conghua's ecological parks has increased from over five thousand hectares to more than fourteen thousand hectares. Seventy percent of the city's total area is forested.
The city ranked first in a comprehensive environment assessment in the year 2000 among thirty-three county-level cities in Guangdong.
